Update for patients with Private medical insurance:

We wanted to make you aware of some changes at the clinic with regards to seeing patients with private medical insurance (PMI).  Over recent years, there have been significant changes in this sector and we have experienced that the PMI companies have imposed greater restrictions on the number of sessions that they are authorising, a reduction in the amount of cover they provide and fees they pay, whilst also demanding more from providers, such as ourselves, in terms of reports and administration.
 
We have always taken pride in ourselves by offering only the best possible standards of care and won’t change this.  Unfortunately, as a result of the changes in the PMI sector, we have had to make the decision to no longer  work with all companies directly. This was not an easy decision to come to, as we appreciate that many people do have PMI and value being able to use this cover. However, we do not want to compromise the standards of care and level of service that we provide and feel that we have no alternative.
 
Many PMI companies do allow policy holders to pay directly for physiotherapy treatments and then claim this back from them.  This depends on your individual policy, level of cover and terms. We are happy to provide receipts and invoices for you.  We would advise that you contact your insurance company directly to check your individual cover prior to booking an appointment with ourselves.
